Maui-Day 2!

If I could just spend every day in Maui doing nothing but laying out, sipping on mai tais and swimming in the ocean, I would be the happiest girl alive.
Rick playing in the ocean at our beach

Our beach looking South (this is funny because looking north it was very cloudy and ominous looking)

So ominous in fact, that it started raining! I was getting sunburned from the sun to the south, and it was pouring on us from a cloud just north of the sun.
It's all good...a little rain never hurt anyone (under a towel)!

It cleared up pretty fast
Molokai (I am intrigued by Molokai, after reading a book titled just that, about the leper colony there in the early-ish 1900. I highly recommend it!)

Paradise!

We went into Lahaina (just about 10 mins south of our hotel by car) that evening for dinner
The beach in Lahaina

Happy Hour at Moose McGillicuddy's (huge drinks but all fruit juice!)

Beautiful sunset!

We called Maui a time warp! It got dark earlier there than home and we were exhausted every night by 8pm! Most days we went to bed around 9 and got up around 6. Rick and I are so NOT that way at home. This night in Lahaina we couldn't convince ourselves to stay in town and check out the nightlife, we were home by 7:30. We must be getting old!
