Maui-Day 4

My friend Megan, who lived in Maui, said we had to go to Gazebo's for breakfast in Napili, and have their banana white chocolate macadamia nut pancakes. Who am I to turn down such good advice? Although the wait was a bit long, the restaurant sat right on Napili Bay with a great view and we had a delicious breakfast and lots of little birds hanging out with us.

If you look close you will see a brown crab in the lower left corner and he is dragging along a dead eel in the tide pool!

Later that night we had reservations for the Old Lahaina Luau which everyone said is the best luau in Maui, and the most authentic. It was a fun show, right on the beach in Lahaina and the food was of course, amazing.

Towards the end of the show it started raining on us pretty good so they handed out ponchos. It's always an adventure!!!

I thought the show was all in all pretty good, but the entertainment seemed a little on the short end. Oh well I suppose!
Some of you may be wondering what the update is on Rick's Uncle David. They operated on his brain Monday and took most of the tumor out. They said there are "fingers" of the tumor left in there, so they inserted a radiaton wafter in there to start therapy on it.
He came out of surgery remarkably well and in very high spirits. The tumor is malignant and he will have to start Radiation, but luckily it will be out-patient. It sounds like they are getting a lot of support from their church community and immediate family, but I want to make sure that you guys know we are here if you need anything that we can provide!
All else is well for now!
