Okay, Hana part 2!
One of the many waterfalls along the road
Rick and the same waterfall
Our last stop of the day was the famous "7 Sacred Pools" which is poorly named because they aren't sacred and there aren't 7 of them! It is actually called Ohe'o Gulch, and it is part of Haleakala National Park. We were really glad we went here, it was beautiful!
This is on Maui's east coast, so this is looking north, where the gulch dumps into the ocean
Rick overlooking the ocean
Beautiful coastline, looking south
Lovely!
Me swimming in the 2nd to the last pool. The water was so nice! It's not everyday you get to swim in a pool below a waterfall! I loved it!
The upper part of the gulch
The tiers of pools from above
The beautiful forest and path
On our way back
If you look close you can see a waterfall there in the middle
We stopped at an overlook on our way back with gorgeous views and nice dramatic clouds before sunset
Rick & I
What I like to call "Jesus rays"
Alright, only 2 and a half days left! I will be so glad to have these pictures done with!
